Rustic design style is based on the 19th century where people wanted to settle in quickly and used natural materials found locally.
This 3800SQFT home @SNNCLERMONT is designed based on rustic interior design style. From our initial discussion with the client, we understood that they wanted their 4 BHK home interior design to be based on a rustic theme with wooden combination and few other natural elements.

Design Details:
⠀
Foyer, Living & Dinning:
We have used cement board panels on the walls of the foyer area with wooden rafters to get a raw outlook as you enter the home. To isolate this area of the home we have used a shoe rack with partition and the shore rack has a natural wood finish with louver shutters for breathability.
In the living area we have used natural finish brick cladding for the TV wall. Whereas the TV unit is made of metal structure with some addition of wooden storage and have used wooden finishing on the ceiling as well for a balance aesthetics.
Kitchen:
As per the discussions with our client we understood that they wanted an open bright kitchen. To make the space more open and to bring in more natural lighting, we decided to break the wall and made it an open kitchen.
The color pallet used for this Kitchen is lighter shade of grey and wood combined with Moroccan tile.
MASTER BEDROOM:
We have used the set of existing furniture with a darker wooden shade and hence we tuned the theme of the master bedroom by using darker hues to match the furniture.
In this #masterbedroomdesign, we have separated the seating area with a highlighted ceiling.
To maintain the flow of the design throughout the home, we have used the same cement panel boards which you can see in the other parts of this home, for the walls of this room.
Another main highlight of this room is the L-shaped aristo wardrobe with a dresser unit in the walk-in area of this bedroom.
HOME OFFICE:
This area is one of the highlights of this 4bhk home because we have broken the room entry wall and added a French sliding door instead to make this an open space that has complete visibility from the living area.
Just like in the master bedroom of this home, we have used the existing desk and the bookshelf for this #homeoffice. Our client had an emotional attachment to this set of furniture, and we at #weadesigns, always support reusing the existing furniture to minimize the overall cost of the #interiordesign project and to reduce eco-waste.
The ceiling of this area as you can see (images in the previous post), is designed differently from the other areas of this home. This ceiling has L-shaped boxing with veneer finishing to get that wooden block kind of a feel through the area.
Other furniture in this area includes a tall and sleek TV unit attached with ledges for additional storage or showcase.
KIDS BEDROOM:
Designing this area was a bit challenging as our client wanted this #kidsbedroom to be different from the normal designs for this room, especially they wanted the wardrobes and the cot to be unique.
After a couple of discussions and an exchange of ideas, we came up with the idea of using a platform bed/cot with a designer headboard for the bed and a walk-in wardrobe. To make the wardrobe different from that of the master bedroom, we have used a different combination of MDF with Duco painted shutters, long solid-wood handles, and added wallpaper in the center.
