As the foyer connects a home’s entrance with the rest of the interior makes it an important area of the home. So, we had long discussions with our client to review this area’s design in making it more welcoming and spacious as we had a narrow entry space. Concluding on ideas, we decided to treat one side of the wall with MDF rafters and bronze-tinted mirrors which gives this space a luxurious welcome to the home, and another side of the wall is treated with the same MDF and highlighted with lights and a very sleek console unit with golden legs.
Living and dining:
The living area of this home had an open floor plan and was connected to the kitchen and dining areas, which gave the space a more open and spacious look to it. To maintain the look and feel of this space, we came up with the idea of giving it a warm luxurious touch by using only a dual-tone of laminate and playing with a different shade of wall paint to highlight this area.
If you look at the tv unit wall, it is completely occupied with solid wood paneling and a laminate finish of black, the combination of this always brings richness to the area.
When it comes to the kitchen area, we wanted to make it more spacious than the space it already had, to bring the aesthetics of the rest of the home into this area. Hence, we demolished a small wall near to window to make an open space and accommodate a breakfast counter. We also introduced a different lighter shade to this area with acrylic glass structures.
